Pathanias' Texture Grids Skinner's Resource Pack 1 Created By Pathanias Coeur de Lion This file contains 3 512x512 pixel Texture Grids divided into various pixel counts: 16x16 32x32 64x64 1 Clipboard view of all 3 open in photoshop and 6 in game screenshots of a mesh skinned with the 64x64 texture grid. Usage: ------------- Generally to achieve the highest possible quality for your texture work you would make you texture 512x512. The way I use these is as follows. 1. I find the mesh I wish to use. 2. I make a copy of the textures grids into DDS files (tga can work too) 3. Opening NifTexture I choose the 64x64 grid and choose that as the texture. 4. I go in game and take screenshots from several angles. 5. I then reopen photoshop and use the 64x64 grid as the top layer at enough of an opacity that I can see the texture I am working with. 6. I use sucessively smaller and smaller grids using steps 3, 4, and 5 to get my texture "skin" as close as I can to what I want. This one is 100% homebuilt ;D Download at elricm.com Texture Grids Skinner Resource Pack 1

Seems like it could be a good little tool for learner texturers... I could've done with something like that when I started. I made my own method up eventually but it took a while. Congratulations on innovation, matey
