Thanks Gayla.. still have to make the staff fully functional yet. Keep avoiding the scripts... I decided to have a bash at a semi-transparent shield... just felt like it really, so go with the flow. Not got far yet, just thought I'd gather an opinion or two: Crystal ShieldSide viewIt will have a sparkly gem-stone set in the hole in the middle and I was thinking of putting the design off the axe blade as silver detail on the crystal surface. I'll possibly make ornate end caps for the corners, too. Thoughts and opinions welcome at this point.

Personally I preferred the version without the axe detail, has an ethereal quality which the detail sort of detracts from. I realize it might be a bit plain for others tastes like that though, I am something of a minimalist.

OOOO- I like that shield.
Sort of reminds me of the Dream Armor- how cool would it be to have an entire set of clear armor- you could see all the cool clothes underneath! ;D (I'm pretty much kidding, though. That would be kind of wierd)
I like that shield a great deal, although I'm not really sure about the detailing on it- can't put my finger on what it is though.
Definitly a cool concept, and as always great execution!

Thankee.. I glow mapped the window now as well... so when it goes dark in-game, it looks as though there is internal light. Quite a nice effects... just like the window glow mod, if you've got that.

OC - I could send you a version of the axe without the design on if you want it, matey. No problem. But I'm going to leave it on for the armoury. I was refering to the shield, I wouldn't part with the silvery design detail on the axe blade mate - heads would roll! If you're happy to supply an additional version of the shield without the detail, that would make me a happy chappy. Interesting building, sort of reminds me of something from Thief. Fond memories...

OC - Never played Thief but I'll take it thats a good thing? As for the shield.... how did I turn that into "Axe" ?? ... Ah well... yeah I'd be happy to do a "plain" version of the shield too, no problem. Thanks Gayla, Sterling - you won't be disappointed when you see it in-game. If anything the screens don't do it justice due to the gamma correction between Desktop and In-game shots. I have nothing new to show yet. I resized the wall texture again to make the blocks smaller - looks even better than the first resize, trust me. Finished the interior textures (well, nearly) - just building it now. Oh yeah - learned how to animate materials on a mesh and part way through experimenting with particle systems and animations. Its a shame that Morrowind is coming to the end of its life - this will be by far my best release. Then again, all this stuff will be useful if I ever decide to mod for that other game Beth have coming out soon ;D
