Thanks mate. I managed to get a bit of detail on the bone bow without ruining it too much: Render shotsAnimation all works fine, so this one is just about finished....

Ohhhh purty.... Just checking here - the shiney is no longer shiney? And the decorations - they look like they're cut out and show the bone underneath? Regardless, they look great

Thanks you guys. I've changed it again... wasn't happy with the grip bit. Lady R - it was supposed to be inlaid silver detail on the leather grip but like I said, I've changed it again anyway... ;D It now has a bone wraparound handle section with silver inlay and a small coarse-weave fabric grip. I also made it look polished with a tiny single point refelction map... So here's some in-game shots (modelled by Niamh of course): 1234

I'm glad you kept playing.
That is perfect.
That's it - I can't think of anything else to say, except perhaps WOW!

Perfected perfection!!!
They are just gorgeous. Reminds me of an ancient polished and much used bulls horn.

Thankee kindly folks. I've enjoyed making this immensely - seeing it it work in-game was very satisfying indeed. I'll make a couple more new meshes, then it'll be time to do the scripting, which I won't enjoy at all... but its necessary to make the thing whole. Off to watch Smallville now. Later, guys.

Yes scripting is a real pain in the arse. Hey! I didn't know you watched Smallville, that's one of my favourite shows, the older episodes were better though.

I like it, and strangely enough, I like the simplicity of it. ;D Oh, and how often are you happy with the way things turn out while you're still working on them? You seem to be worse than I am when I'm sketching.
